^this is really not how I’d summarize the data-dense column (not to mention the time-varying composition effects of defining “high school or less”), which also considers: mismeasurement + aging + composition effects + obesity. I left the article thinking composition effects must matter, but also that obesity might be very important. Also I’m going to pull out this additional chart, since it adds to the confusion IMO:
^a version of this chart goes viral every few months, and it’s not even properly measured? 😵😵😵😵😵 Also: where’s the line for “PhD program”…
