• Twitter is currently blocking Substack from embedding tweets — for anticompetitive reasons. Some earlier anti-Substack actions were repealed, but the blocking of embeds remains (more, more, more).

“OMB just released incredibly important, very thoughtful & long overdue updates to the guidance for regulatory analysis (Circular A-4) & public investment (Circular A-94).”

“The circulars used to be updated every 5-10 years but it has now been 20 years since A-4 was updated and (I believe) 30 years since A-94 was updated.

The reason they need updating is partly new thinking but also new data.”
